Bio Medical Signals:- Bio medical signals of clinical and research interest are related to followed system:-

ECG:- Electrocardiogram for heart activity
EEG:-Electrocardiogram for brain activity
EMG:- Electromyogram for muscle activity
ENG:- Electronystagram (for eye activity)
ECG:- Electroculogram (for eye activity)
ERG:- Electroretinogram (For eye activity)

The frequency and magnitude of such signals are tabulated below:-

 

 

The following physical variables are mostly used 

(1) Arterial Blood Pressure                   -  20 to 300mm of Hg (V)
(2) Phonocardiogram (Heart Sound)   -  15 Hz to 200 Hz
(3) Temperature                                     -  Dc to 1 Hz
(4) Venous Blood Pressure                    -  .5 to 20 mm of Hg (Dc to 40 Hz)
